Shenmu Calcium Carbide¡¯s Continuation Project Passes Review of Energy saving Acceptance

On February 14th, Shenmu Calcium Carbide successfully passed the review of the implementation of energy-saving report opinions for the continuation project of 1.2 million tons/year calcium carbide recycling and comprehensive utilization. The review meeting was attended by the Shaanxi Province Energy Conservation Review Expert Group, Shenmu City Development and Reform Science and Technology Bureau, Shaanxi Chaoteng Ecological Environment Consulting Co., Ltd., and heads of various departments and factories.
During the review period, the expert group conducted on-site spot checks and verifications on the rectification of the energy-saving report acceptance opinions and related materials of the Shenmu Calcium Carbide¡¯s Continuation Project. They examined the actual construction, main processes, operating conditions, energy management system, and the implementation effect of energy-saving measures. After rigorous review, the expert group unanimously agreed that the energy consumption solution for the Shenmu Calcium Carbide¡¯s 1.2 million tons/year calcium carbide resource recycling and comprehensive utilization continuation project has been fully implemented. The energy equipment is advanced and efficient, the energy management system is sound, the energy-saving technology measures are leading, the energy measuring instruments are accurate and reliable, and the comprehensive energy consumption and energy efficiency level have reached the industry benchmark. It was agreed to pass the review of the implementation of the energy-saving report opinions for the Shenmu Calcium Carbide 1.2 million tons/year calcium carbide resource recycling and comprehensive utilization continuation project.
In 2024, Shenmu Calcium Carbide continued to optimize the "peak avoidance production" operation mode of calcium carbide, reducing the unit cost of calcium carbide by about 500 yuan. Measures were taken to reasonably adjust the blending ratio of 3-1 pieces of coal, boiler dry coal slurry and semi-coke small materials to further reduce procurement costs. It also actively participated in the peak shaving of nighttime electricity load in Northwest China and implemented the capacity fee settlement in the second phase of off grid electricity bills, thus saving a total of about 10.54 million yuan in electricity bills. By stimulating innovation vitality with new quality productive forces, we have implemented multiple projects such as energy-saving renovation of thermal power units, frequency conversion renovation of high-voltage motors, pneumatic conveying renovation, and renovation of the second phase semi-coke waste heat boiler. This has motivated all leaders and employees to seek benefits from technological innovation, and provided additional support for the company to improve quality and efficiency.
