On February 13th, the Joint Conference on Industrial Policies for the Petroleum and Chemical Industry System was held in Beijing. Director Wang Zhong, Second-level Inspector Han Jingyou, and Section Chief Zhao Gaobin from the Raw Materials Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the conference. Officials from China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Sinochem, CHN Energy, and China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation participated in the conference, together with heads from various departments of the CPCIF, key industry associations such as China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, China Crop Protection Industry Association, China Association of Fluorine and Silicone lndustry, China Soda Industry Association, China Rubber Industry Association, and China Inorganic Salts Industry Association. Among the participants was Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA. Sun Weishan, Vice President of CPCIF, presided over the meeting. The attending representatives discussed the newly formulated "Work Plan for Stable Growth in the Petrochemical and Chemical Industry" (draft for comments), put forward opinions and suggestions, and exchanged views on the difficulties and problems in the current development of various industries. The meeting focused on discussing the relevant work of the " Early Warning Report on the Production Capacity of Key Petrochemical Products". Finally, Director Wang Zhong of the Raw Materials Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology summarized the meeting and planned the next steps of work.
