On March 12th, the symposium on the "Going Global" of the petroleum and chemical industry was held in Beijing. Relevant responsible comrades from enterprises such as CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, SINOCHEM, CHN ENERGY, CNCEC participated in the meeting. Relevant responsible persons from industry associations such as those of pesticides, chlor-alkali, nitrogen fertilizers, phosphate compound fertilizers, soda ash, rubber, coatings, dyes, and inorganic salts also attended the meeting. Pang Guanglian, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, introduced the economic operation situation of the petrochemical and chemical industry in 2024 and the basic situation of the industry′s "Going Global". Each participating central enterprise and industry association respectively exchanged views on their overseas layouts, industrial layouts and industrial transfers, the problems faced in going global, the coordinated development of the industry, and relevant suggestions. Wang Lili, Director of the International Cooperation Working Committee of CCAIA, participated in the meeting and exchanged views on the current situation, the problems faced, and suggestions regarding the "Going Global" of the chlor-alkali industry.
