2025-3-28
Recently, China Tianchen Engineering Corporation (TCC) signed an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) general contract for the 2¡Á55,000-ton low-temperature ethane tank project with Long Son Petrochemical Company Limited in Vietnam, which is a subsidiary of Siam Cement Group (SCG) in Thailand.
The successful signing of this project not only marks a breakthrough for China National Chemical Engineering in the field of low-temperature tank projects in the Southeast Asian region, achieving the leap from zero to one, but also represents the first trilateral cooperation among chemical enterprises from China, Thailand and Vietnam. It provides an innovative paradigm for China and ASEAN countries to jointly promote the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative under the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
The project signed this time is in the Long Son Petrochemical Complex Park in Vung Tau City, Vietnam, and it is Vietnam¡äs first petrochemical complex and supporting facilities project. By increasing the proportion of ethane use, this project optimizes the production process, which not only enhances production stability but also reduces carbon dioxide emissions. TCC attaches great importance to this project. It immediately established a core team, focused on the key points and difficulties of the project, carefully organized and planned, actively and efficiently mobilized various resources, advanced the design work, and completed the project feasibility study report, transformation verification and approval work ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, it carried out the test piling in the storage tank area and the construction drawing design of the pile foundation simultaneously, winning the recognition and approval of the local government and the employer, and achieving a historic breakthrough in a new field of the Southeast Asian market.
