The Overall Progress of Huajin Aramco Petrochemical¡¯s Ethylene Plant Project is Close to 60%

Huajin Aramco¡¯s Fine Chemical and Raw Material Engineering Project, the largest ethylene plant in China, is currently underway.
The 1.65 million ton ethylene plant of Huajin Aramco project is the largest one of its kind in China. Currently, the civil engineering has been completed, the steel structure equipment is being extensively constructed, and the convection section module of the cracking furnace is being installed.
Recently, at the construction site of the project, high tower cranes extended their long arms, accurately lifting building materials and equipment. With workers engaged in their respective positions, the overall progress of the project is currently close to 60%.
The residual liquid extraction tower is 118 meters high and 15 meters in diameter, with a bare weight of 3500 tons and a lifting weight of 4366 tons. It is the largest in diameter, highest in height, and second in weight among similar towers in global chemical projects and the largest monomer equipment in the Huajin Aramco project as well.
With a total investment of 83.7 billion yuan, the project mainly involves the construction of 32 sets of process units, including 15 million tons/year oil refining and 1.65 million tons/year ethylene, as well as supporting public works and auxiliary facilities. The project is located in Panjin Liaobin Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national level economic and technological development zone located at the strategic connection point between Shenyang Economic Zone and the Beijing Tianjin Tangshan urban agglomeration, with convenient transportation. Meanwhile, Panjin Port, as the most convenient seaport in Northeast China, boasts a unique logistics advantage.
