Xinfa Group Invests Billions to Expand its Photovoltaic and Wind Power Layout
2025-4-10
On March 26th, at the site of the 287,500 kilowatt centralized onshore wind power project in Dong¡äa County invested by Liaocheng Xinfa New Energy Co., Ltd., the 160 meter high intelligent wind turbine pile driving project is gathering pace. With a total investment of 1.4 billion yuan, the project adopts the world¡äs leading wind measurement radar technology, which can achieve real-time blade direction adjustment. It is expected to be connected to the grid for power generation by the end of 2025, with an annual power generation of 630 million kilowatt hours and an annual output value of 240 million yuan. It can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 487,000 tons per year. This is one of the microcosms of Xinfa Group¡äs billion level new energy layout, with its photovoltaic and wind power projects being carried out in multiple locations such as Shandong, Xinjiang, and Guangxi with a planned capacity of nearly 6 million kilowatts.
It is reported that in Xinjiang, Xinfa Group¡äs new energy layout has also made rapid progress. In May 2024, its Xinjiang company¡äs 880,000 kilowatt photovoltaic project has completed 70% of the total project amount, with an investment of 4.8 billion yuan. After completion, it will promote the optimization and upgrading of the local energy structure. Meanwhile, the 100,000 kilowatt wind power project of Xiaocaohu Wind Farm in Toksun County, Turpan has entered the grid connection sprint stage in February 2025. 12 wind turbines with a single capacity of 8350 kilowatts have been hoisted, equipped with 10MW/20MWh energy storage equipment and a 110kV booster station. It is expected to generate 212.5 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually and reduce carbon emissions by about 56,700 tons per year. As Turpan City plans to exceed 10 million kilowatts of new energy grid connected installed capacity by 2025, the Xinfa project is a key support for this goal.
The electrolytic aluminum industry has jumpstarted Xinfa¡äs green power transformation with its high carbon emission characteristics. The annual electricity consumption of this industry exceeds 500 billion kilowatt hours, with its carbon emissions accounting for 64% of the entire non-ferrous industry, making it a key industry in China¡äs industrial sector for carbon emissions. At the 4th Entrepreneur Forum recently held, Zhang Huaitao, Deputy General Manager of Xinfa Group, emphasized that they will actively adjust their energy structure, vigorously develop new energy projects in photovoltaics and wind power, and promote the process of carbon reduction from the source.
