On the evening of April 15th, ST Zhongtai (002092) announced that recently, the demonstration project of resource-based comprehensive utilization for methanol production and upgrading of Xinjiang Zhongtai New Materials Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of the company, successfully completed the handover of the project upon reaching the completion acceptance stage. The project has entered the trial production stage from the construction stage. After the project is put into operation, it can promote the local and nearby comprehensive utilization of resources. As a supporting raw material for industries such as BDO (1,4-butanediol), the methanol products can enhance the overall stability of the industrial chain and meet the methanol demand of fine chemical and new chemical material enterprises in Xinjiang.
