Jiyuan Jinxiang Materials¡¯ Caustic Soda Relocation Project to the Park Approved

2025-6-3

Recently, the annual production of 160,000 tons of ion membrane caustic soda and its by-products relocation project of Jinxiang Materials Co., Ltd. in Jiyuan City has been approved by the provincial government. The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has officially issued a letter of support for the project construction plan.

With a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan, this project is planned to integrate the effective normal production capacity of 40,000 tons/year caustic soda and the effective idle production capacity of 120,000 tons/year caustic soda of Fangsheng Chemistry to develop a comprehensive utilization project with an annual output of 160,000 tons of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda and by-products. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual operating income of 915 million yuan, an average annual profit of 380 million yuan, and provide about 88 job opportunities. At the same time, the chlorine gas produced by the project will effectively meet the raw material needs of companies such as Qingyuan Water Treatment, Longxing Titanium Industry, and Xinghan New Materials in the chemical park, thus laying a solid foundation for the layout of high-end chemical industries such as organic fluorine and organosilicon in the future.

To ensure the efficient progress of the project, the chemical industrial park fully leveraged its service functions and established a special work team to track the progress of the project throughout the process. The specialized team immediately organized a professional analysis of the main hazards of the project and commissioned a third-party authoritative organization to conduct a scientific assessment of the overall safety risk capacity of the chemical park. On the premise of confirming that the security risks are controllable, the team actively coordinated with relevant departments to accelerate the processing of the joint review procedures for entering the demonstration zone, and help the project pass the joint review of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

Next, the chemical industrial park will continue to strengthen service guarantees, optimize approval processes and make every effort to promote the early start of project construction, providing strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the regional chemical industry and high-quality development.
