Recently, the 50,000-ton annual production of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin project of ChemChina Western New Materials Co., Ltd, undertaken by China Chemical Fourth Construction Western Company, was successfully delivered, marking the project′s full entry into the production preparation stage from the construction phase.

Located in Yuheng Industrial Zone, Yulin City, the project aims to create a high-end polyolefin industry chain in China by producing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin. By conducting in-depth research and development and extending upstream and downstream products, the company establishes a domestic ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin industry development base and builds an industrial development company that integrates production, research and development, sales and operation. After put into operation, the project is expected to provide 50,000 tons of high-quality resin to the market every year, helping to increase the self-sufficiency rate of domestic high-end products and break the dependence on imported high-end materials. Boasting the resource advantages of Yulin High tech Zone, the project forms an integrated industrial chain. It is expected to create hundreds of new job opportunities, which has profound significance for promoting the development of China′s high-end materials industry and regional economic upgrading.
