Recently, the 40,000-ton/year basic lithium salt integrated project of Yanhu Industry has made significant progress after 11 months of round-the-clock construction: the adsorption lithium extraction unit has successfully completed intermediate handover, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent full-line commissioning of the project. This marks the official transition of the project from the engineering construction phase to the trial production phase.

As a key project of Yanhu Industry and a milestone in the development of lithium resources in Qinghai Salt Lake, the 40,000-ton/year basic lithium salt integrated project has attracted widespread attention since its launch. The adsorption lithium extraction unit, as the "core engine" to achieve the project′s production capacity target, features a super-large plant of 35,000㎡, integrating the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the adsorption lithium extraction device, auxiliary substations, and outdoor storage tanks to form an efficiently collaborative production matrix. The unit adopts the industry-leading "continuous ion exchange moving bed + membrane coupling" technology. Through innovative processes and full-process optimization, it breaks through the technical bottleneck of traditional salt lake lithium extraction, achieving leapfrog improvements in lithium resource extraction efficiency and quality. It also deeply implements the concept of green development, takes energy conservation and efficiency enhancement as the guide, and consolidates the technical foundation for the overall production capacity release of the project.
