The Guangyue Chemical Project Is Expected to Start Trial Production in the Third Quarter of This Year

Jiangmen Guangyue Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangyue Chemical") has steadily advanced the project construction since its commencement on January 10, 2024. Currently, 90% of the overall project volume has been completed, and it is expected to fully enter trial production in the third quarter of this year, steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a leading enterprise in the local chlor-alkali industry chain.
It is reported that Guangyue Chemical is invested and constructed by Jiangmen Guangyue Electrochemical Co., Ltd. and Jiangmen Development Group, serving as a key project for regional industrial upgrading. The project plans to occupy 190 mu of land, with the first-phase investment reaching 1.1 billion yuan. It is planned to build 34 single buildings, including office facilities as well as production core areas, laying a solid foundation for the enterprise¡äs future efficient operation.
The project will rely on the world¡äs leading ion-exchange membrane technology for alkali production to manufacture basic chemicals such as caustic soda, hydrogen, bleaching water, and hydrochloric acid. After the first-phase project reaches production capacity, it is expected to produce 81,000 tons of caustic soda, 150,000 tons of hydrochloric acid, 350,000 tons of sodium hypochlorite, 20,000 tons of chlorinated paraffin, and 2,000 tons of high-purity hydrogen annually, achieving an annual output value of 450 million yuan. After the second-phase project is expanded, the caustic soda production capacity will be significantly increased to 200,000 tons per year, and the company¡äs annual output value will also jump to 900 million yuan, showing huge development potential.
