Recently, at the Signing Ceremony of Key Projects in Jiaxing by Nanhu District′s Listed Chain-lead Enterprises, Satellite Chemistry′s high-performance catalytic new materials project was signed. This indicates that Satellite Chemistry plans to expand its layout in the catalyst field, and in the next five years, it will achieve parallel development in four major areas (catalysts, new energy materials, new polymer materials, and functional chemicals) with a R&D investment of over 10 billion yuan. 

In recent years, Satellite Chemistry has successively launched the Satellite Global Marketing Center and a 300,000-ton superabsorbent resin project in Jiaxing. The newly signed high-performance catalytic new materials project, with a total investment of approximately 3 billion yuan, will rely on the company′s technological advantages to build an integrated production-research platform for the industrialization of high-performance catalysts and the clustered development of high-end new materials. 

As a key core technology in the chemical industry, catalysts are known as the "pearl on the crown," and their technological level directly determines the upper limit of industrial development. Satellite Chemistry stated that the implementation of the high-performance catalytic new materials project is an important measure for the group to deepen its regional presence and strengthen the industrial chain, and it will also drive the joint development of upstream and downstream industries with a scale of over 100 billion yuan.
