The Main Units of The Fifth-Phase Project of Xinjiang Meike Chemical Have Been Completed

2025-6-24

Recently, the fifth-phase project of Xinjiang Meike, which is EPC contracted by China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd, has reached a key milestone-the boiler of the thermoelectric unit was successfully ignited for the first time and operated stably. Following the successful commissioning of the chemical unit on March 16, when qualified BDO products were produced in one-time feeding, this is another major progress of the project, marking that the project has fully entered the hot-state commissioning stage of the entire system, creating favorable conditions for the blowing of high-pressure steam pipelines and the full-scale production.

During the construction of the thermoelectric unit, the project team gave full play to the advantages of organizational coordination, overall planned and dispatched resources from multiple parties such as design, technology, supply and construction. By establishing a daily meeting and daily report coordination mechanism, managing key and difficult problems in a list-based manner, scientifically allocating construction forces, it effectively overcame many difficulties such as the connection between design and construction, the compression of procurement and supply cycles, and the harsh winter construction conditions, and completed the installation tasks of each system of the thermoelectric unit as scheduled. Before the ignition and start-up of the boiler, the project team made advance plans, formulated comprehensive operation and emergency plans, and jointly carried out multiple rounds of debugging and hidden danger investigation on the boiler and various auxiliary equipment with the participating construction units, laying a solid foundation for the successful ignition this time.
