On June 24, the industrial natural gas blending green hydrogen project jointly promoted by Huadian Baotou Hydrogen Energy Technology Company and Inner Mongolia Fengzhou Material Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation, marking the successful operation of another replicable and promotable industrial natural gas blending green hydrogen project.

The successful operation of this project has played a leading role in the green transformation of Baotou′s industrial chain, opened a favorable situation for the subsequent large-scale promotion of hydrogen blending projects by hydrogen energy companies, further promoted the "wind-solar-hydrogen-storage-application" industrial chain, expanded the application scenarios of green hydrogen in the industrial field, and helped Baotou build itself into a national leading demonstration city for green hydrogen energy applications.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time Huadian has focused on the field of industrial natural gas blending green hydrogen. On November 26, 2024, the industrial natural gas blending green hydrogen demonstration project implemented by Inner Mongolia Huadian Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in Darhan Muminggan United Banner, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, successfully ignited.
