On July 26, the on-site promotion meeting for the Dongying Times Zero-Carbon Industrial Park project, located in Kenli District of Dongying, was held, marking the start of construction of China′s first 100% zero-carbon industrial park with direct green power connection in Dongying. 

It is understood that the project is invested by CATL. The 40GWh lithium battery green intelligent manufacturing base built in the first phase is the core project of the entire zero-carbon industrial park. It is expected to be completed and put into operation next year, with an annual output value of 26 billion yuan and tax revenue of 1.2 billion yuan. 

It is reported that in the future, Dongying City will take the lithium battery green intelligent manufacturing base as the core, target upstream raw materials and downstream industries such as new energy vehicles, low-altitude economy, humanoid robots, and energy storage equipment manufacturing, and build a "one-to-one nanny-style" service system. It strives to build a 100-billion-level green lithium battery industrial park covering the entire upstream and downstream industrial chain within 5 years, effectively transforming Dongying′s industrial structure as an energy city.
