Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for East Hope Group¡äs 2 Million Ton/Year Alumina Project

Recently, at the construction site of East Hope Group¡äs aluminum-based materials project in Beihai Tieshangang East Port, workers are operating large machinery to carry out various construction tasks in a busy yet orderly manner. It is reported that full-scale construction of the factory area has now commenced, marking the entry of the main project into a substantive construction phase.
The project is invested and constructed by Beihai East Hope Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 28 billion yuan. The first phase involves the construction of a 2 million ton/year Bayer process alumina production system, red mud conveying, drying and return water pipelines, red mud comprehensive utilization facilities and related supporting facilities, a 60-ton/year metallic gallium project, a 24GW photovoltaic module project, as well as living supporting facilities and equipment.
The project is a key industrial project promoted by the autonomous region. With the joint efforts of all parties, the construction progress is generally smooth. The full-scale construction of the factory area marks the entry of the main project into a substantive construction phase. Meanwhile, the key supporting project of the project¡ªthe red mud storage yard¡ªhas also started site clearing and access road construction. As of July, the project has completed a total fixed-asset investment of approximately 2.1 billion yuan, and it is planned to be completed and put into operation in January 2026. After the project is put into operation, the annual output value is expected to reach about 6 billion yuan, with annual tax revenue of about 320 million yuan.
