Phase II of the ZTHC Energy¡¯s Wind-Solar Hydrogen Integration Project Started

2025-10-16

On October 9, ZTHC Energy issued a bidding announcement for technical services related to the energy conservation assessment, carbon emissions evaluation, and "high energy consumption and high pollution" argumentation report for the second phase of the wind and solar hydrogen production integrated project in Wushen Banner.

The second-phase project is designed with a construction scale of 100,000 KW for photovoltaic power generation, 400,000 KW for wind power generation, an annual hydrogen production capacity of 20,000 tons, and an annual ammonia production capacity of no less than 100,000 tons.

The first phase of the Wind-Solar Integrated Green Hydrogen Chemical Demonstration Project includes a hydrogen production plant with an annual electrolysis capacity of 30,000 tons (56,000 standard cubic meters per hour). The hydrogen production unit consists of 48 sets of 1,000 Nm³/h electrolyzers and 4 sets of 2,000 Nm³/h electrolyzers, along with storage and transportation facilities (6 spherical tanks with a capacity of 1,875 m³ each). The project is equipped with an integrated power storage system of 3MW/6MWh, with produced hydrogen supplied to the ZTHC¡¯s Coal Chemical Project. As the first phase of the project is contracted as an EPC project by Sinopec Engineering Co., Ltd., the main equipment procurement has been completed with construction currently underway.
