The 2025 list of Qinghai Provincial Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation Platforms was recently released, with the Qinghai Salt Lake Resource Development Pilot Test Base affiliated to Qinghai Yanhu Industry Co., Ltd. being selected.

It is reported that the Salt Lake Resource Development Pilot Test Base, located in the Qarhan Salt Lake area, covers a total area of 173,400 square meters. At present, the base has built a fully functional hardware support system, including a 6,000-square-meter standardized workshop and a 35kV switch station with a load capacity of 10,000 kWh, which comprehensively ensures the stable operation of pilot test production. At the end of September this year, the expert apartment building supporting the pilot test base was completed, accepted and put into use. It can meet the living, office and academic exchange needs of high-end scientific research talents in one stop, laying a solid foundation for building a benign cycle of "talents - technology - industry". Since its commissioning, the pilot test base has completed more than 10 pilot test projects such as Key Technology Development for Direct Lithium Extraction from Brine in Qarhan Salt Lake.
