Jintai Chlor-Alkali Wins the National "Water Efficiency Leader" Title

On November 18, the 2025 Energy Conservation and Water Saving Experience Exchange and Technology Promotion Conference for the Petroleum and Chemical Industry, hosted by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, was held in Kunming. In 2024, Jintai Chlor-Alkali¡äs water consumption per unit product for caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride was 2.52 cubic meters/ton and 3.19 cubic meters/ton, respectively, earning the company the title of "Water Efficiency Leader" in key products for the petroleum and chemical industry once again.

For a long time, to maximize the value of water resources, the company has established an industry-leading water-saving system, intensified technological innovation, and implemented water-saving technology upgrades. Building on continuous optimization of conventional water-saving measures such as condensate recovery and process water cascade utilization, the company has overcome key technical challenges like advanced treatment of high-salinity wastewater through independently developed chemical descaling and dual-membrane treatment processes, achieving closed-loop recycling of water resources through technological innovation.

The company has established a comprehensive dual-control system covering the entire process, which manages both total consumption and unit consumption, and breaks down water-saving targets into each operational link. Through strict measurement, statistics, and benchmarking management, it ensures water usage remains controlled and efficient, while incorporating water-saving achievements into performance evaluations to stimulate internal motivation for all employees to participate. By practicing a circular economy and promoting wastewater "resource utilization," the company recycles all treated water back into production, creating an internal water circulation loop within the company. This significantly reduces the intake of fresh water, achieving a balance between environmental and economic benefits.

Jintai Chlor-Alkali will continue to shoulder the responsibility and mission of being a "pioneer," further exploring more possibilities for efficient water resource utilization, continuously consolidating and enhancing green competitiveness, and contributing more robust "Jintai strength" to the "dual carbon" goals and the construction of an ecological civilization.
