2025 China International Chlor-Alkali Conference Held in Xi¡äan

From November 13th to 14th, the 2025 China International Chlor-Alkali Conference (the 13th Session) kicked off in Xi¡äan City, Shaanxi Province, attended by nearly 400 representatives from nearly 20 countries and regions around the world.
Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA, delivered a speech at the conference. Dai Yande, former Director of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, Ned Monroe, Executive Director of the Global Vinyl Council, Frank Reiner, Executive Director of the Chlorine Institute; Richy Mariner, Director of the EuroChlor; Boris Yagud, Executive Director of the Russian Chlor-Alkali Association, Nelson Felipe Junio, Executive Director of the Clorsur, Charlotte Röber, Executive Director of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers; Ladha Akshat Kamal, Member of the Management Committee of the All India Plastics Manufacturers¡ä Association; Paisan Lorpongpaiboon, General Manager of the ASEAN Vinyl Council Association; and Sadegh Bensaeid, Manager of Iran¡äs Arvand Petrochemical Company, respectively gave special reports on energy development strategies, the current development status of the chlor-alkali industry in their respective regions, and the future development trends.
Shi Yanyong, President of Shaanxi Beiyuan Group, and Dong Hongbo, President of Befar Group, delivered special reports titled "Current Situation and Future Trends of China¡äs Polyvinyl Chloride Industry" and "Current Situation and Future Trends of China¡äs Caustic Soda Market" respectively. Rizaldi Indra Janu, Director of the Indonesia Investment Promotion Center in Beijing, gave a special report on "Indonesia Investment Outlook 2025". Dr. Liang Yan from the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment presented a special report titled "Risk Control and Resource Utilization of Waste Salt". Qian Zhaogang, General Manager of the Chlorine Products Business Unit of Wanhua Chemical Group, delivered a special report on "Global Layout and Development Strategy of Wanhua Chemical¡äs Chlorine Products". KSB-SlSTO Armaturen S.A., Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery, Shandong Dongyue Polymer Material, and Shanghai Huayi Engineering exchanged views on new equipment and technologies in the industry. S&P Global, ICIS (Independent Commodity Intelligence Services), Swiss Salt Market Information, Brazil Suzano, and Beijing Antaike Information respectively provided useful insights into the updates of global caustic soda, PVC, global salt industry, paper industry and alumina market.
