From October 20th to 23rd, at the invitation of China Yanhu Industry Group, CCAIA, together with Minmetals Securities, jointly went to Golmud and Xining in Qinghai Province to conduct on-site research. The research team visited enterprises including Qinghai Yanhu Magnesium Industry Company, Yanhu Yuanpin Company and Yanhu Haina Company. Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA; Zheng Jiebin, Vice Secretary-General; Li Qiong, Director of the Comprehensive Management Department; and Wang Li, Director of the Industry Research Department, participated in the research.

The research team gained a detailed understanding of the enterprises′ production and operation status as well as the difficulties they are currently facing, and conducted in-depth and exchanges with relevant personnel of the enterprises on issues such as production technology, energy conservation and consumption reduction and safety and environmental protection.

During the discussion with the Chlorine Absorption Working Group of China Yanhu Industry Group for the "Metal Magnesium Integration Project-Tackling Hard Problems Campaign", the team conducted systematic exchanges on issues including the key development directions of the chlor-alkali industry during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and the current status of alkali-chlorine balance. It also put forward relevant suggestions on the direction of by-product chlorine absorption, industrial collaborative research and the path of industrialization.
