Since the beginning of this year, facing a severe operational situation, the Caustic Soda Plant of Shanxi Jintai Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd has launched a combination of technical tackling measures, promoting the transformation of resource recycling from "concept" to "practice". The plant innovatively proposed a high-efficiency reuse scheme for resin tower wastewater: using acidic wastewater from resin regeneration for dechlorination and alkaline wastewater for alkali preparation, thereby advancing the classified reuse and value re-creation of three types of wastewater.

Upon proposing the scheme, the plant immediately established a research team and promptly organized experimental verification. Since its implementation, the project has operated stably for 4 months, achieving significant cost reduction and efficiency enhancement: saving 18 tons of sodium carbonate, 3,000 tons of fresh water, and 20 tons of 32% alkali per month. The technology will be further promoted to the first-line equipment, with an expected annual saving of 37,000 tons of fresh water, 168 tons of sodium carbonate, and 542 tons of caustic soda, creating economic benefits of approximately 1.7 million yuan.
