On November 28, the Standardization Committee of CCAIA organized an expert review meeting for three group standards (draft for approval) via video conference, namely "Safety Technical Specifications for the Filling and Application of Liquid Chlorine", "Safety Operation Regulations for Vinyl Chloride Gas Holders", and "Safety Operation Regulations for Acetylene Gas Holders". Nearly 30 participants attended the meeting, including representatives from the Standardization Committee, review experts, and the drafting team. The review panel consisted of 9 experts led by Zuo Zhiyuan, a senior expert from Qingdao Haiwan Chemical Co., Ltd, Zhang Xin, Vice President of CCAIA, Zhang Shoute, Deputy Secretary-General, and Fan Hongbo, Deputy Director, were present at the meeting. The review panel listened to the explanations from the standard drafting units on the background, process, and content of the standards, as well as the feedback on public comments, followed by in-depth inquiries and discussions. Through voting, the review panel unanimously approved the three group standards and formulated the minutes of the review meeting. The drafting team will revise and improve the standards in accordance with the expert opinions, and steadily advance the formulation, approval, and release of the group standards.
