The Startup of the VCM Gas-phase Dehydration and Purification Unit at Inner Mongolia Yihua Chemical
2026-1-4
Recently, the gas-phase dehydration and purification unit under Inner Mongolia Yihua¡äs vinyl chloride project completed the feed heating process as required by the process specifications. Sampling analysis confirmed that all operational indicators met the design standards, with key parameters remaining stable and controllable, achieving a successful commissioning in a single attempt.
The unit employs industry-leading vapor-phase dehydration technology and advanced purification techniques, offering significant advantages over traditional processes, including high dehydration accuracy, high material recovery rates and high automation levels. Upon commissioning, it will substantially reduce the moisture content of vinyl chloride feedstock, minimize the adverse effects of impurities on subsequent polymerization reactions and further enhance the quality of PVC products. Additionally, it ensures stable operation of the distillation system and facilitates efficient resource recycling, thus laying a solid foundation for the production of high-value-added polyvinyl chloride products.
Next, Inner Mongolia Yihua Chemical will continue to optimize process parameters, enhance routine equipment maintenance, deeply tap into production potential, and fully advance the plant¡äs operation to achieve long-term, full-capacity, and high-efficiency performance. This will help the company create greater economic and social benefits, contributing actively to the construction of a new Yihua.
