On January 22, the fifth session of the second council meeting of the China Chemical Safety Association kicked off in Beijing. Zhang Xin, Vice President of CCAIA, attended the meeting as a standing council member. The first phase of the meeting was chaired by Lu Nianming, Party Committee Secretary. Liu Li, Deputy Director of the Hazardous Chemicals Supervision Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Professor Guo Lunde from the Central Party School of the CPC gave a thematic lecture, sharing insights on studying the essence of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. President Wan Tao chaired the second phase of the meeting. Vice President and Secretary-General Ma Xinni presented the 2025 work report, while Vice Secretary-General Qiao Fajie delivered the 2025 financial revenue and expenditure report. The meeting also elected additional council members, standing council members and vice presidents and approved the proposal to appoint vice secretary-generals.
