On February 2nd, Shenneng North Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. signed a Framework Agreement for Investment Cooperation with the People′s Government of Etok Banner. The two parties will deepen cooperation focusing on key areas such as integrated wind power-to-hydrogen.

The Etok Banner Integrated Wind-Solar-to-Hydrogen Project for Green Ammonia Synthesis commenced construction in June 2023 and was successfully selected into the first batch of national hydrogen energy pilot projects in the energy sector in October 2025. Recognized widely by the industry for its technological innovation and demonstrative leadership, the project is scheduled to be fully completed and put into operation in August 2026. With a total investment of approximately 8 billion yuan, the project signed this time will further expand the scale and upgrade the capacity on the basis of the existing project. It plans to construct wind power projects and related supporting facilities, a water electrolysis hydrogen production station, and extend downstream using green hydrogen as a raw material to invest in the construction of application projects such as synthetic green ammonia, green methanol, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
