CCAIA Participated in the Joint Meeting on Industrial Policies for the Petrochemical and Chemical Industry

On February 5, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) held a joint industry policy meeting for the petrochemical and chemical sector. The meeting was attended by representatives from key specialized associations, including China Chlor Alkali Industry Association (CCAIA), China Soda Industry Association, China Association of Fluorine and Silicone Industry, China Rubber Industry Association, Calcium Carbide Industry Association of China, China Crop Protection Industry Association, China Sulfuric Acid Industry Association, China Synthetic Resin Association, China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association, China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association, China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, China National Coatings Industry Association and China Polyurethane Industry Association. Zhao Gaobin, a fourth-level researcher from the Raw Materials Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was present, along with CCAIA¡¯s Vice Secretary-General Zheng Jiebin and the Director of its Industry Research Department Wang Li. Qu Hui, Director of Industry Development at CPCIF, chaired the meeting. Director Cai Enming provided an overview of the implementation of capacity monitoring and early warning efforts for the petrochemical and chemical industry in 2025. Researcher Zhao Gaobin emphasized the importance of capacity early warning and set new requirements for industry product monitoring and early warning in 2026. The specialized associations shared their progress in capacity monitoring and early warning initiatives and outlined future work plans, engaging in extensive discussions on topics such as expanding monitored products and indicators.
