Two Major Industrial Projects of Hengli Group Settled in Dalian Changxing Island

According to the official website of the Dalian Municipal People¡äs Government, on March 17, Hengli Group signed three cooperation agreements with Dalian to establish Dalian Shipping Co., Ltd., and invest in the construction of a Marine Power System Industrial Park and a Polyester New Materials Industrial Park in Dalian Changxing Island.
Since Hengli Group took root in Liaoning 16 years ago, it has invested a total of 360 billion yuan in Dalian Changxing Island, forming an industrial pattern of coordinated development between green petrochemicals and high-end shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment manufacturing, creating nearly 100,000 jobs. With a total investment of approximately 16.5 billion yuan, the two industrial park projects settled by Hengli Group in Dalian Changxing Island are expected to add an annual output value of 35 billion yuan upon full completion and production.
Leveraging the raw material supply advantages of the Changxing Island Petrochemical Industry Base, the Hengli Polyester New Materials Industrial Park project will extend the industrial chain downstream to high-end polyester and other new materials, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry from basic chemicals to high-end fine chemicals.
Focusing on core supporting fields such as marine engines, the Hengli Marine Power System Industrial Park project will effectively fill the gap in core power systems for the shipbuilding industry in Dalian and even Liaoning Province, and drive the shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment industry toward independent control of the entire industrial chain.
In addition, the Dalian Municipal People¡äs Government, together with Hengli Group and foreign investors, signed a framework cooperation agreement. Dalian Shipping Co., Ltd. will be established through joint investment by Hengli Group, provincial and municipal state-owned assets, and Singaporean enterprises.
