Total Investment of 1.75 Billion Yuan! CECEP 500MW Industrial Park Green Power Supply Project Commences Construction

On March 25, the 500,000-kilowatt industrial park green power supply project in Chayouqian Banner (Xinghe County), Inner Mongolia, invested and constructed by CECEP Wind Power, officially started construction.
As the group¡äs largest single-capacity project and the first green power supply project for industrial parks, the project involves a total investment of approximately 1.75 billion yuan, with a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts. It is equipped with a 75MW/300MWh energy storage system and a 220kV booster station constructed simultaneously. Adopting the collaborative "wind power + energy storage" model, the project will further enhance power regulation capacity, solve the problem of local consumption of new energy, and inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the wind power company during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, as well as the optimization of energy structure and green upgrading of regional industries in Ulanqab City.
Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an average annual on-grid electricity output of over 1.2 billion kWh. It will save 364,500 tons of standard coal and reduce nearly 1 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, providing stable green power for regional industrial parks, accelerating the green upgrading of local traditional industries, and contributing the strength of a central state-owned enterprise to the high-quality development of the local economy.
