From April 1 to 3, the Safety Management Improvement Training Session for Chlorine-Related Enterprises organized by CCAIA was held in Shanghai. A total of 127 trainees from 69 chlor-alkali manufacturers attended the training. The training session was presided over by Li Qiong, Director of the General Administration Department of the association. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General, delivered an opening speech. Relevant experts including Hu Yongqiang, Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the association and Safety Director of Hangzhou Electrochemical Group, as well as those from Xinjiang Tianye, Shanghai Chlor-Alkali, Yibin Tianyuan and DuPont Consulting, gave lectures respectively on topics including analysis of issues in the implementation of the Technical Specification for Chlorine Safety in Chemical Enterprises, construction of a full-chain management system for abnormal working conditions in chlor-alkali enterprises and standardized identification and disposal practices for typical abnormal working conditions, establishment of safety self-management teams, intelligent transformation paths and digital safety system construction for chlor-alkali enterprises, operation, maintenance and hidden danger investigation of instrumentation and industrial control information security in chlor-alkali enterprises, and contractor safety management. China Chengda Engineering gave a focused interpretation of the Technical Specification for Safety in Vinyl Chloride Production by Acetylene Process. During the training, systematic exchanges and Q&A sessions were held between lecturers and trainees. Meanwhile, on-site visits and study tours were conducted to the Digital Intelligence Center, caustic soda production site, intelligent robot inspection operation, and intelligent supervision system for liquid chlorine storage of the Huasheng Branch of Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical.
