Sinochem Hualu Signs Contract for Yihua Chlorine Resource Industrialization Project

Recently, Hualu Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd. signed an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) general contract for a 110,000 tpy chlorine resource industrial utilization project supporting a new material industrial park with Hubei Yihua Group. Adopting domestically leading proprietary complete sets of methane chloride technologies with independent intellectual property rights, this project represents an important practice for the group to deepen the "T+EPC" model and promote the transformation of core technological achievements in the high-end chemical sector of fluorine, chlorine and silicon.
As a key intermediate in the fluorochemical industry chain, methane chloride is an indispensable core raw material for emerging industries including high-end fluorine materials, battery materials and new refrigerants, boasting stable market demand and a prominent strategic position. The project plans to build a 100,000 tpy methane chloride unit, a 12,000 tpy perchloroethylene unit and supporting public auxiliary facilities, fully applying Hualu¡¯s new-generation proprietary technologies for methane chloride and perchloroethylene with independent intellectual property rights. As a key project driving the industry¡¯s transformation toward high-end and refined development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the project will inject new momentum into the quality improvement and upgrading of the regional chemical industry chain upon completion.
