On the evening of April 13, Tianyuan Group announced that the company has invested in and constructed a 100,000 t/a chlorination process titanium dioxide project. To properly dispose of waste salt generated during chlorination titanium dioxide production, ensure a stable supply of chlorine resources, further extend and expand the basic chlor-alkali chemical industry chain, and strive to build a green circular industrial system integrating "chlorine titanium phosphorus iron lithium" with complete supporting key resources and efficient resource utilization, Yibin Haifeng Herui Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of the company, will acquire new land and construct a waste salt comprehensive utilization project with cogeneration of 200,000 t/a ion-exchange membrane caustic soda in phases.

The total investment in the project is RMB 931 million, with a construction period of 24 months.
