On May 11, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company announced that its operational performance has received further international recognition. ExxonMobil presented two 2025 ExxonMobil Global Excellence Awards to the company: Global Excellence Award – Leap in Work Safety Standardization Rating and Global Excellence Award – Outstanding Progress in Profit Margin Improvement and Cost Reduction.

It’s understood that the ExxonMobil Global Excellence Award represents the corporation’s highest honor, open to all business units worldwide. By winning two prestigious awards at once, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical has outperformed all peer affiliates globally in these two fields, emerging as an outstanding benchmark in 2025.

It is reported that grounded on the OIMS system, the company strengthened management of on-site direct operating activities and launched the SWC verification improvement initiative, achieving a TRIR of 0.04%. Through proactive risk identification and hierarchical management of hidden dangers, it successfully elevated its work safety standardization level from compliance qualification to performance excellence. In 2025, the company was officially certified as a Level II Work Safety Standardization Enterprise, marking a qualitative leap in system management, proactive prevention capability and continuous performance improvement.
