Recently, Lu′an Hengtong Chemical Company adopted automated equipment for hydrochloric acid filling at its chlor-alkali plant, phasing out manual operation and realizing safe, accurate and highly efficient filling work.

Previously, hydrochloric acid filling relied entirely on manual work, which was time-consuming and labor-intensive, accompanied by potential safety hazards and visual measurement errors. Supporting quantitative filling, the newly launched automatic filling system is equipped with emergency shut-off valves to rapidly cut off the process in case of emergencies. In actual operation, after vehicles arrive, operators conduct vehicle inspections, drivers park vehicles and open tank inlets. Operators press the automatic positioning button, and the loading arm descends accurately into the tank inlet. Operators then set filling parameters and press the start button to initiate automatic filling. Once the filling volume reaches the preset value, the system stops automatically and starts nitrogen purging to remove residual hydrochloric acid inside loading arms, eliminating liquid dripping risks and material waste.
