Recently, Qinzhou Port Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone issued a notice to publish the proposed approval opinion on the Environmental Impact Report of HOPENE Project of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the HOPENE project of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. plans to build a polyolefin pilot plant and supporting facilities in Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone with a total investment of 178.55 million yuan, including an investment of about 2.2 million yuan in environmental protection facilities. The project is part of the Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Material Integration Base, aiming to produce chemical products such as methanol, acetic acid, and ethylene glycol. The Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Material Integration Base also includes the second and third phases of the project with a total investment of about 55 billion yuan.
