Recently, the supply and demand of PVC market in North China has remained at the previous level. While local carbide-based PVC plants work at low operating rates, ethylene-based PVC facilities maintain stable production after maintenance. Downstream demand has performed calmly, leaving social inventory stable. With the concentrated delivery of goods from Northwest China, local PVC manufacturers face difficulties in sales, leading some to slightly reduce running rates under great inventory pressure.
