At present, while the mainstream ex-factory quotation of well salt is 440-540 yuan/ton, some transactions of bagged sources have concluded at a slightly higher price. Local well salt facilities are working at a steady run rate, producing a stable amount of industrial salt and leaving the inventory at a reasonable level. In addition to meeting the needs of the local downstream sectors, some products are sold to surrounding provinces. As downstream caustic soda and soda ash producers operate at an increased utilization rate, salt manufacturers have accelerated their sales. With sufficient supplies available in the local market, the transaction remains at the early level.
