Recently, the liquid caustic soda market has been in a stable transition in Yunnan. While there is no quotation for 32% concentrated liquid caustic soda which is in short supply for sales, the mainstream delivery price of liquid caustic soda with a concentration of 50% remains steady at 4900-5000 yuan/ton (price 100% consistency) and a lower price is set for some sources. Local caustic soda units work at a steady run rate, producing a stable amount of liquid caustic soda and leaving the inventory at a reasonable level. At the same time, the local downstream alumina sector operates mildly, hoarding a normal amount of caustic soda and concluding transactions smoothly. All these contribute to a stable transaction level.
