Currently, the calcium carbide market tends to be stable in Ningxia, with individual production enterprises boasting good sales, offering carbide goods at a slightly higher price, which, however, is far from being sufficient to have a strong pulling effect on the regional market. At this stage, while the mainstream ex-factory price of local first-class calcium carbide is between 3100-3150 yuan/ton, the actual transaction price is subject to flexible negotiation. According to analysis, as the overall chlor-alkali market has rebounded recently, local production facilities are operating at a high utilization rate and carbide manufacturers embrace good sales. However, considering sufficient supplies, we estimate that the price increase is limited.
