Many carbide enterprises subject to cost pressure have kept operating at a low utilization rate or postponed resuming operations. However, in the context of replenishment of some integrated carbide sources, the overall market supply remains sufficient. Affected by this, downstream chlor-alkali producers have no intention of raising the purchase price of calcium carbide. Considering the sluggish trend of domestic carbide market, we expect that there will be no significant adjustment in the carbide market in Wuhai in the short term.
