On February 28th, a Panamanian ship carrying 20,000 tons of 50% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, the "Dawn" bulk chemical product ship, pulled anchor and set sail at the Wanhua Fujian Port in Jiangyin Port District, Fuqing City, heading towards overseas markets. This is the first ship sent by Fujian Southeast Electrochemical to export 50% sodium hydroxide, and also the first time that a Fujian enterprise exported 50% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, filling a gap in the export of chemical products in Fujian Province.

50% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution is an important basic chemical feedstock with a wide range of uses. In order to successfully complete the export task, the company collaborated with Wanhua′s affiliated enterprises to carefully plan, with the Supply and Marketing Department taking the lead in coordination of export matters. While continuously increasing international market development efforts, the Production Department and Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Department among other departments have actively stocked up and strictly controlled product quality as they strive to provide all necessary guarantee measures for the export business.

The Fuqing Office of Rongcheng Customs under Fuzhou Customs arranges sampling inspection in advance to provide useful guidance to enterprises about how to use the "Internet Plus Customs" platform to achieve "one-stop" services for handling customs matters, and improve product delivery efficiency by implementing measures such as "appointment inspection", "declaration in advance", and "direct shipment upon arrival".

In recent years, as Fuqing City accelerates the construction of a 100-billion yuan chemical new materials industrial park, the import and export of chemical products in Jiangyin Port Area has grown rapidly. In 2023, the port imported and exported 2.404 million tons of chemical products, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%.
