On March 8th, the 2024 working conference of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Collaboration Task Force was held in Tianjin. At the conference, the Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone was awarded the title of "Beijing-Tianjin Electronic Chemicals Base". Main responsible comrades from the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Joint Office for the Coordinated Development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei attended the meeting.

The Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone is deeply committed to serving the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. It has planned a 1-square-kilometer zone to build an electronic chemicals industrial base, aiming to establish an industrial cluster integrating the research and development, production, and logistics storage of electronic chemicals. It strives to become a comprehensive electronic chemicals material supporting service base that is based in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei and serves the integrated circuit industry development in northern China, ensuring the safety and stability of the regional integrated circuit industry chain and supply chain. This will contribute to the construction of advanced manufacturing clusters for integrated circuits in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.

Currently, the construction of the electronic chemical storage project is being accelerated, with projects such as Jinhui Technology and Bohua Chemical Reagent already under construction. Projects including Xinzhoubang Electronic Materials and Linggas Specialty Gases have been put into production in succession.

As a professional chemical industrial park, Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone focuses on four major areas: special olefin derivatives, advanced chemical materials, high-end fine and special chemicals, and high-end producer services. It has targeted 10 fields including carbon two to carbon five, high-performance engineering resins and composites, electronic information materials, and electronic chemicals. To date, it has introduced over 140 projects with a total investment exceeding 180 billion yuan. In the future, the Nangang Industrial Zone will continue to adhere to the principles of high-end, fine, green, safe, and intelligent development, striving to build a world-class green chemical materials base and petrochemical industry cluster.
