On March 12th, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the list of major construction projects under ‘A Thousand Trillion ‘program for effective investment expansion in Zhejiang Province in 2024.

According to the project list, there are 63 green petrochemical and new material projects. Among them, there are 37 high-end new material projects, 6 oil refining and chemical projects, and 20 fine chemical projects.

On February 18th morning, the kickoff ceremony for the major ‘A Thousand Trillion ‘program in the province for 2024 was successfully held. The venues for the 11 cities were all set at the sites where major projects were launched, put into production, and put into operation. The event was conducted through video connections, with leaders from the provincial party committee and government attending the event at the Jiaxing venue. Du Xuliang, the director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, participated in the event and reported about the major projects under ‘A Thousand Trillion ‘program that were launched, put into production, and put into operation in the province in 2024.

According to the previously released ‘Implementation Plan for Major Construction Projects under A Thousand Trillion Program for Effective Investment Expansion in Zhejiang Province In 2024’, the province′s fixed asset investment is expected to grow by approximately 6% in 2024.

The implementation plan proposes to advance more than 1,000 major provincial construction projects in 2024, with a planned investment of over 1 trillion yuan. The first batch includes 1,101 major provincial construction projects with an annual planned investment of 1.0313 trillion yuan. The goal is to achieve a new project commencement rate of 100% and an investment completion rate exceeding 100%.
