The Proposed Investment Projects of Key Petrochemical Enterprises in Shandong Released

On March 29th, the information conference for the proposed projects of key petrochemical enterprises in Shandong was held at the East China Petrochemical Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing and Remanufacturing Industrial Park in Zibo. At the meeting, a number of petrochemical companies including Xintai Petrochemical Group, Zibo Junchen New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Fuhai Group New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. released information on their proposed investment and construction projects.
Fuhai Holdings has two ongoing and planned projects. Among them, the 1.5 million tons/year polyester packaging material project is totally invested at 6.92 billion yuan, mainly including 5 × 300,000 tons/year polymerization equipment and 86,000 tons/year waste bottle and chip cleaning equipment. At present, as the first phase of a 2x300,000 ton/year polymerization plant and supporting engineering is under construction, the long-term equipment ordering has been completed and civil engineering and installation engineering are proceeding as planned. Under the low-carbon reconstruction and comprehensive utilization demonstration project of aromatic hydrocarbon feedstocks, 15 million tons/year refining and supporting facilities are planned to be developed, with various evaluation reports being prepared.
In 2024, Junchen New Materials plans to continue the renovation and upgrading of the 500,000 ton/year styrene industry chain integration project, including the filling and filling of tank areas and storage facilities for the proposed 500,000 ton/year styrene industry chain integration renovation and upgrading project, as well as the 160 ton/hour sewage reuse project.
At present, Xintai Petrochemical is accelerating the construction of a green low-carbon olefin integration project. Among them, the construction of 300,000 tons/year of isopropylbenzene, 350,000 tons/year of phenol acetone, and 240,000 tons/year of bisphenol A units has started, with the equipment installation planned to be completed this year. In addition, the company will also build 500,000 cubic meter chemical tank area and chemical wastewater treatment facility.
