India importer released recently that, due to the global price increases and the reduction of government subsidies, India KCl imports may fell by 5% to 7%. According to statistics, from April 2016 to March this year, India imported 3 million 740 thousand tons of potassium chloride, representing an increase of 15% over the same period of previous year. Confirmed by the India chemical fertilizer department, India will reduce the subsidy for potassium chloride by 20% to 7437 rupees/t in fiscal year 2017~2018.
