Recently, Shanxi Coal Chemical Energy Co., Ltd. has passed the examination in Shanghai on theTechnical renovation project of methanol production plant of 300,000 tons/year medium-high pressure carbonylation process to ethylene glycol plant. The project is located in the modern coal chemical industrial park of Binxian, Shaanxi, which has been put on record in October 31, 2017. In July 7, 2018, it signed a joint general contract and was scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2019.
